Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE JUNE 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information ARRAKIS collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. We aim to collect only what is necessary to operate the Service.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account information: when you request access or an account is created for you, we store your name (if provided), email address, organization (optional), and the details you submit in an access request. Passwords are stored only as salted cryptographic hashes — never in plain text.
Usage data: we store data you create within the Service, such as saved watchlists, layout preferences, and feedback you submit.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use your information to authenticate you, provide and maintain the Service, respond to access requests and feedback, send transactional emails (such as password-reset links and access-request decisions), and protect the security and integrity of the Service.
3. EMAIL
Transactional emails are sent through a third-party email provider solely to deliver messages you have triggered or that relate to your account. We do not sell your email address.
4. DATA RETENTION
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the Service. Password-reset tokens are short-lived and single-use. You may request deletion of your account by contacting an administrator.
5. SECURITY
We use industry-standard measures, including hashed passwords and signed session cookies, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. THIRD-PARTY DATA
The Service displays data from third-party and public sources. Those sources operate under their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control.
